I went thru my mother’s dementia for 6 years until her death. Sometimes she laughed, sometimes she was confused about everything in her life, sometimes she was angry at what was happening to her and her loss of control. She was angry at me often . I think that taking the time to 2017 The Year I Merried The Most Amazing Man Alive Shirt this time with his mother for others to see is a gift for us.

I know i didn’t see it coming. I’m sure he spends happy times with his mom that he doesn’t choose to share. Personally, i’d have been grateful to see this before my mother developed dementia. I was her only child, and her only caregiver and i stumbled thru it not understanding exactly what was happening to her.

When you have to live thru something like this, you might have a different perspective. Sharing this with us is a generous gift.  I’m sure this man’s heart is in the right place, but did he receive his mother’s consent to film her and publicly display her in a compromised light? Even if he thinks he’s doing some sort of public service, this seems undignified.

I didn’t experience this degree of dementia with my parents but i do know what it is like for them not be the people you remember. I feel for your pain. You want them to be the people you grew up knowing. The ones that would support you no matter what. Then when the time comes they can’t remember things or continue to repeat things is when it becomes evident their minds are failing them..

I wish you all the best. You and your family are in my prayers. He is a wonderful son. Im so glad she has a son who loves her and spends time with her. It’s so sad the way some kids treat their parents. They don’t have time to call them or visit them. I hope their kids remember them when they get sick or old.joey im so sorry your mother has dementia. Prayers for you and your family…..

Some women from my church do a incredible voluntary visit to her at my home every a day of the week a different one come to help me with my mom for. E to go work 2017 The Year I Merried The Most Amazing Man Alive Shirt to  its a blessing from god. Im very thankful.  Our mom had dementia for a long time & she & dad moved in with us as he wasn’t able to take care of her by himself as his health declined. He passed away & she continued to live with us. She would always see things that were’nt there & say & do things my mom wouldn’t ever do.
