You can take a knee and still stand for the anthem if you want…so whatever – both sides are angry about it because both want the cowboys to be compliant…but i think it’s a more powerful message to kneel before the anthem in solidarity then stand for the anthem as a testament to the appreciation of the fact that we live in a nation that will address the inherent issues on the domestic frontier.

Exactly what good comes from this sophrmoric demonstration? Did you help the homeless? Did feed the hungry same hungry? Did you stop abuse? What exactly did you accomplishe but come off lookping like overpaid ignorant crybabies feet for attention.

Accountability for actions cannot be exempt behind a badge and department issued firearm. I applaud the cowboys for using thier voice to stand in protest and lead the nfl in honoring those who have fought and lost thier lives for our freedoms.  I like how kneeling during the anthem for racial equality is wrong but booing during the anthem is completely fine.

However, some sources have confusingly stated that the nfl has a separate game operations manual, and it is that document, not the rulebook, which supposedly includes the wording in question regarding player conduct during the national anthem. How about taking a knee for father’s to stay with their families and raise their children.
