I used to respect police officers, but now they only scare me. The last time i was pulled over, i was driving a low rider. The officer thought one thing and was mad when i rolled down my window. He thought that i was hispanic because of my low rider truck. His face turned red, because he saw that i was a white middle aged woman and he had just made a big mistake.

He wrote me a ticket because i couldn’t find my current car insurance card. All i had was an old one. He was rude and just wanted to write the ticket and get out of there. I think i spoiled his fun for the day. What an asshole. I almost felt like apologizing for being a white middle aged female he was so mad. Now i know what it’s like to be profiled, that is, my truck was profiled.

There are still good cops out there but there is a lot of trash mixed in. I can certainly appreciate that they have a hard dangerous job. But if they cleaned up the force and got rid of the bad apples, their reputation would go way up. We also need to be sinking lots more money into training. That would help more than anything. Behavior is important as to not put yourself in a situation where it warrants police intervention.

Don’t fuck with the police and they won’t fuck with you. However. On the other hand, police recruitment policies need a longer training program and three key components must be thoroughly vetted…. Intelligence, empathy and decency. This hasn’t been tried before, it may actually work. Never forget that the boys in blue protect and serve the state’s interests. Not yours or mine unless it suits them.  I admire you.

Unfortunately , the black men’s fear is legitimate! It’s sad they’re terrified ,and ya know what else erks me, is some emt,s and police can’t even go into neighborhoods to help victims, because they are afraid of being highjacked or murdered! So let ,as a whole, end this shit! Put the I Am My Ancestors Dreams Shirt guns down.  We need more police officers like that who don’t leave a bad taste in your mouth. There has been to much racial profiling and police brutality.
