I was a firefighter too, so i dont think its a prank. and this guy is pretty un-smart? u grab the hose where its not moving and work ur way up, jus lik the one guy tried to tell him. Ugh!  Arms length on hose, feet out as far as possible with strength leaning on hose, both hands, work ur way up to nozzle carefully..not that hard, but extreme concentration and strength works.
