The Tories and the media have done a great job of spinning the line that Labour are bad for the economy, but no one seems to be paying attention to what the Tories have done to it. They’ve more than doubled the national debt in 7 years! They’ve failed to clear the deficit which they promised would be done by 2015.

So how come when the polls began reporting that the gap between Labour and Conservatives was closing the pound lost value and the UK fell from the 5th biggest economy to the 6th. I see my colleagues in tears most shifts, people are so stressed and the public is receiving a far depleted service.

The value of the pound has dropped dramatically since the Brexit vote. It also dropped when May lost points in the polls because financial markets don’t like uncertainty and change always means uncertainty. If you look, you’ll see that it rose again some hours later. It’s the hardest but the best job I’ve ever had, but right now it’s completely heartbreaking.

I hope that none of us will ever need to call 999, but the likelihood is everyone will once in their lives and we currently can’t get there quickly enough. I hold no bad feeling towards anyone and I know that people all have their own reasons for voting their own way. I’m committed to trying to tell people how bad the Tories have made things for us until the very last minute, I couldn’t live with myself if I didn’t.

Thousands of disabled people have died after their benefits being stopped, every NHS trust in the country is missing all targets, fire related deaths up 17% since the cuts took hold, major crime is up, terrorist attacks happening when the police and armed officers have been cut by a significant amount. Why are you so eager to vote for the party who has made things worse for everyone the last 7 years… except for the top 1% who have doubled their wealth in that time.
