I find his attitude unbelievably selfish. His family were expecting him back on a certain flight and when he didn’t arrive would be understandably worried and he didn’t think even to let them know he was ok? He may not have had a mobile phone but he could have made contact with them easily from the hospital when he was there. Or he could have used a payphone or sent an email from one of the tribes computers.
