During the battle for Mosul, there was no stream of children in the rubble. This area is controlled by islamists who kill or abduct any westerner they can lay their claws on.

The few journalists are all Sunni muslims who are embedded in these groups of fighters. And there is a stream of, uncontrolled, images of suffering children as soon as the battles start, eagerly copied by the news agencies… Why is there no stream of images coming out of the mirror conflict Yemen?

Just in what way is this any different from Raqua and the retaking of that city by the forces of Iraq. Civilians still caught up in the fighting, used as a shield and for propaganda. No heroes in the middle east, plenty of villains. And most certainly never was or will be for freedom or democracy for this region, only resources and strategic position.
