Belle true, some prides are share holders. Brothers usually control one pride although one will dominate the brother(s) as who can mate who.Techinally Mufasa could of killed Nala for not being biological. Scar could of done the same as well, killing any and all descendents of Mufasa. But if disney kept it all in lion terms we wouldnt have the Hamlet story we have now. Happy 22nd to my favorite film of all time, The Lion King. I remember being so excited all year! I was 9 when The Lion King came out. I remember going to the Disney Store and buying the action figures (when the quality was exceptional), plushes, and other memorabilia. To this day I still have most of them and now my son plays with them. “Look, Simba. Everything the light touches, is our kingdom. Everything you see exist together in a delicate balance. As king, we need understand that balance, and respect all the creatures; from the crawling ant to the leaping antelope.

We are all connected in the great circle of life.”  I can’t get myself to watch it anymore. I was 7 when I first saw it with my parents. I can still remember how hard I tried not to cry when King Mufasa died. It’s my first heartbreak. Watched it in the cinema in Melbourne, Australia for my 11th birthday party and then numerous times after that. Even have the soundtrack on cassette tape (kids won’t know what that is now) which was $20AUD back in those days.. Wow.. I sound old. Still one of my favourite movie’s of all time and I’m 32 now.

I remember seeing this in theaters. Was just 5 years old. Just brings me back to my childhood. Love it! Gunna watch this tonight to celebrate the 22nd anniversary. First movie I ever saw at the theater! I was 5:) and I took my 3 year old to see it when it was re-released in 3D. Her first theater movie too! Love that we have that in common. We’re def a Disney family . The foundation of My childhood. This movie blew my 1 year old mind when my mother took me to see it Summer of ’94. Personally, I think this is (arguably) the best Disney film ever made.

No one can deny that this film has a place in history.  Oh my gosh this movie is now 22 years old? I was only 4 years old when this movie came out and I remember seeing it at one of those old drive in theaters. Knowing this makes me feel older than 26. Still one of my favorites. My mom bought it for my sister when she was born, but she would never watch it. I was born in 1998 and one day when my mom put it on for my sister to try to get her to watch it.
