His wife seemed as excited as he was so i guess our opinions are a little irrelevant.  Love this. I’m a baby nurse,have been to lots of deliveries and seen all kinds of Camping Heartbeat Shirt. This was priceless! Has nothing to do with loving other children less. I have two other sisters, when my brother, was born my dad went out on the deck and yelled ” it’s a boy”!!

None of us were offended.  I am the only girl out of 5. I always wanted girls, but we had my 3 sons! Wouldn’t have it any other way. Then they got married and then i got my girls, 4 granddaughters! Also 2 grandsons, boys are much easier, but we love them all the same!

Sure wish we would have had a video camera in the delivery room 36 years ago…we had already had 3 girls & then were blessed with twin boys! I would have liked to capture my husband’s reaction. As i remember, it was something like this…lol! The thing is, we are human, we often cant help how we feel, it can by messy and joyous. At least he is happy. Besides, he had a voice of reason in there, his mom/matriarch told him to sit down.

It’s been almost forty years ago that the last girl in my family was born; since then, it’s been only boys. I imagine this will be our reaction when one of us finally gets a girl…happy for him. Awww. My parents were the same way, only the opposite. After 3 boys they finally had a girl.

Although my brothers were much easier to raise, so be careful what you wish for, folks!  I knew it wouldn’t be long before people would begin bashing this man for being excited about the birth of his son. Good grief people, calm down. He’s allowed to be happy and excited!

Everyone has a slight preference to what sex they are hoping for. I did. If you say you didn’t you are a liar. After 3 girls i can certainly understand the man wanting a boy. I am happy he now has one. It always amazes me the amount of negativity that is on social media. So many haters trying to bring others down. Geez…stop acting like this guy is the devil. My mom had 3 boys before she had me(girl). She didn’t believe it either until the nurse showed her. Her reaction is something my father still talks about with Camping Heartbeat Shirt.
