I wanted my children to learn, they did and are much better for it. The thing is children are supposed to attend school for a specific number of days each year. If you take them out for vacation see if they can attend on-line. Studies show kids learn more important lessons out of school than in school.

Parents need to realize that other than math most subjects taught are BS lies. there isn’t a history book in public schools that reads the truth!  I so applaud this gentleman’s take on vacationing with his children. In today’s schools they are taught to fight, use drugs, foul language, and bullying.

Did these people with the school boards carry those children for nine months, feed and nurture and teach them how to talk, how to walk, how to know the difference between right or wrong? I highly doubt it. The school systems need to teach our kids more about how to live and function with everyday life instead of all the crap they will never use in their lifetime.

They are learning about shootings and suicides of fellow classmates. Bottom line is money that the school looses for absenteeism. I have had a daughter that was bullied to the point of suicide. I went to the school spoke with teachers, councilors, principals, bus compound and all they did was to keep moving my daughter around which was a punishment to her and not the bullies.

They even knew who the bullies were without us telling them but nothing was done to them. They told me they cou k d not watch ALL the kids ALL the time. We’ll I chose to pull my daughter out and home schooled her as well. They may not have considered her important enough to protect her from taking her own life but I did. I do not regret my decision Candice Bergen Free Melania Shirt!! They missed 3 days of school. Big deal. I totally agree with the parents.
