Plastic pollution is just one problem. There is a lot of unnecessary packaging though. I bought some avocados the other day, they were in a plastic tray and in addition, wrapped in plastic. If they can spend billions on sending a satellite up to space to clear up space junk why can’t they spend a few hundred thousand sending something in to clear plastic from the oceans. Pollution is the biggest threat to our planet. Plastic is man made and we can do something about it whereas erupting volcanoes we can’t.
