As a vet you would think you would be receptive to vets with PTSD, pain or other medical conditions having medical cannabis. Time to rethink your position. Most Hoosiers want this, look at the most recent polls 90%. Legalize now. There are other medications and treatments without going the route of marijuana. The outspoken people about this drug are usually guilty of taking it illegally. Are you? Troy Lazarus Cannabis has less side effects than most pharmaceuticals, and has never killed a single person. I am a nurse that is concerned about people and health. I have done my research.

Benefits can be extracted. It doesn’t need to be smoked. It’s always been just another way to destigmatize to pave the way for recreational marijuana, in my opinion. Tim Rowlison People need it now. 100 Hoosiers die every month from opioids right now. In legalized states opioid use and deaths have dropped from 25-50%. We need it now. Also nothing wrong with recreational cannabis, way safer than alcohol. Polls are completely useless. Given any subject, a correctly conducted poll can get any result you desire. Doesn’t mean I don’t agree with the concept.

Troy Lazarus It has been medicine for over 5,000 years. Also the government has been giving cannabis to glucoma patients for years. There are studies out there, this is just an excuse to not legalize.  wearing the uniform is not a big deal. That is the part of war that is exciting and dramatic. Fighting in a real war is a different thing…..Dying id a war is tragic. At least you served our commander in chief dodged the draft twice! Thank you for your service! Having spent 23 years of regular Army service, I retired and returned back home to Indiana to become a High School teacher. In the 16+ years that I have been teaching here in Indiana, I have seen constant attacks on teachers and the institution of public education by the republican controlled government of Indiana. Thanks for your service, but you and your party could do a lot better in serving America’s future. Let me know, I’d be glad to help.  I understand your feeling sir, but I’d have to disagree.

You are in the minority among today’s politicians. Your reflection states that you were, “Thank you for your service, Dabbing Skeleton Dare To Be Yourself Shirt.” It is a shame that you and your party disparage public education and teachers. Medical marijuana is truly a miracle, better than any pill the VA forces on its veterans, as a Indiana combat veteran medical marijuana helps with my PTSD and knee pains, why would you ban something that helps veterans who pay with their minds and bodies.  The most fulfilling thing to me is to be able to provide for my children, seeing them grow into strong, intelligent young men who will do what’s right and be a benefit to the world. Dear Governor, thank you for your service.
