Thursday and I would have been devastated if she had cancelled because it was my last “public” outing before I start chemo next week. It was also my daughter’s 18th birthday present, so there is no way we would have just cancelled the trip. London is a big city with lots of amazing things to do, many of them for free. You could still have a great weekend away with the hotel you have booked, just not quite the one you were planning.

As i sit watching my mother fade away with only hours or days left. I have learned u have only 1 life. U have nothing to prove, u have a family and a gift.
