I just want to say that I not lose any of your chapter i am a really your admirator, I dream someday to have adventures like you, many people consider us crazy for preffer make a bonfire than play video games, the truth it makes me happy. dreaming is something magnificent grandest but better than it is make those dreams come true!You have to be your true authentic self for the dreams to be realized. Too many people hide behind a mask, in turn their potential is never realized. After the dream I had last night I don’t want to make it real because I dreamt of the end of the world in an apocalyptic way!

I know, I was one of them. I didn’t like some of the things going on at the time, but if you tried to attack America, you were going to have to come thru me first. As an older person.. I well remember those days and also remember that my feelings about the “hippie” generation, their dress, their hair and unkept personal self.. was that the generation was about being for something and not against something.. they were for a better America but respected the America we had at that time in history.

They were for tolerance and not protesting about lack of tolerance… and yes they were a little bit misguided about the troops in Viet Nam and returning from Viet Nam… and did show disrespect… but always for America… Richard Weathers Just because we were shaggy, doesn’t mean we were “unkept”…I was right in the middle of it and I knew no one that didn’t bath or smelled bad…yeah, we got dirty from working the gardens, fixing our own vehicles and making our own clothes, but nobody was unwashed for long.

Craig Jack I had the honor of picking up a childhood friend that served in ‘Nam at the airport. There were protesters there, and one spit at the soldiers coming off of the plane. I can’t speak for all, but this was one “long-haired unkept hippie” that gave that protester a good ‘ol fashioned country ass-whippin.
