Dogs should be seat belted.not to run around car or stick there heads out window an aloud to blow there brains out. Witch really the people that allows that is mean an cruel. There just like kids seat belt safe.  It is valid. Because if there was a crash the pull points are all wrong. Plus the tail is forced between their legs which is only natural when they’re scared and shouldn’t be in that position for a long time.

Plus that was strapped to a female Dog. It would trap a male dogs bolloks. Just saying.  I understand the safety factor but could cause injury to their backs. I’m sure they wouldn’t enjoy just hanging there with that strap up their butts either. This is one thing I wouldn’t buy. Just saying. Christina Baker my friend never wore her seat belt she thought she knew best… I miss herTotally agree, our nearest vet is 5 miles away, also the local kennels. Our collie is less than 25lbs, no way would she tolerate this, happily harnessed into boot of Landrover every time.

I would be terrified in an emergency stop to throttle her. Soft fur slips in that style of harness. Babies are safe due to 5 point harness with base not poor dogs swinging in the breeze. When a dog gets older and arthritis sets in this would be very painful. Good idea but too much strain for the back.  My dog loves going for a ride in the car,he wears a harness with a dog seat belt so he can stick his head out the window..these dog things look ridiculous and so not fun for a dog..bloody hell,what will they come up with next.

Megan Moore yeah i feel like the impact of a crash on a dogs small bones in a tight harness like that could actually do serious damage too and im sure that being in that position especially if taking bumpy roads would be dire for a dogs back. Erm what about big dogs this cud be hilarious not a chance have I got of getting my huge Staffy in one of those . I’m sure Honey would fit…not! And it doesn’t look comfortable at all! Ours have the seatbelts that attach to their harnesses so they can still sit/lie.

Wouldn’t see a kid being strapped like that and unable to get comfy so why do it with a dog? My big lugs only around 70lbs but he’s a mutt with what we believe part wolfhound, berger picard or griffon so he has height. Standing on his back legs hes almost 5′. Dogs don’t look overly happy or comfortable! Look at the way they are panting.Will give there backs and hips some proper issues in those positions. Not a good idea. It looks so unnatural to see a dog strapped in like this it can’t be comfortable or good for their back and spine.

How do we petition to pull this from the market?My Dog Is My Child Shirt Does anyone know? They got approval from what one veterinary surgeon!!! I doubt any good specialist would approve this unsafe device!! Plus it should have been a veterinary neurologist/neurosurgeon who actually is the most qualified to perform the spinal surgeries!! This is horrible, dog aren’t supposed to sit like human, this is potentially a injury to their back. Look at how uncomfortable thia dog sit like.
