My Mom wrote a similar letter to me before she went in for a brain aneurysm surgery. Thankfully, she’s alive, but she had a brain hemorrhage during surgery and suffers from a kind of dementia as a result. I always cherish that letter, as it’s from a Mom that no longer exists.If tgere was truly a god then he wouldn’t allow things like cancer. Either that or he does exist and he created it. This is heartbreaking. May she rest in peace. I lost both my parents to cancer within the span of 17 months apart. My ONLY consolation is that they truly didn’t suffer at the end. We as a family didn’t have to see them suffer with dementia or Alzheimer’s. They just went to sleep peacefully

I am so sorry for your loss…..I lost my mom 14 years ago now to cancer as well. The last year we spent many hours together as I took her back and forth to doctor appointments.
