It also helps them to be able to take better care of them at night. As the disease progresses to the final stages, i am able to provide palliative care to them and set them up with I Don’t Care What Anyone Thinks Of Me Except Dachshunds I Want Dachshunds To Like Me Shirt and eventually their comfort care. I cannot think of anything else that i would rather do, as it gives me great pleasure to help people. I feel your pain and anguish.

It cannot be easy to watch this happen to a loved one. Especially a parent. I’ll pray for you and your mom. God bless you for doing what you are doing. As hard as it is to watch, there is no greater love than that of a parent and child. Also, thank you for documenting this, as i am sure it will help others to understand this terrible disease. God bless! I watched dementia take my grandma, and two aunt’s from me.

I also work as a nurse in an alzheimer’s unit. It is such a horrible disease. I think it is harder on the family members because you have to see your loved ones deteriorate. I’m sorry for you joey but you are doing great and molly is lucky to have a son like you. I will keep you and molly in my prayers. Take care of yourself. It is so heartbreaking to watch a loved one go through this.

My dad had alzheimer’s and passed away almost two years ago. I try to remember him before he was afflicted with this horrible disease and now mostly remember his smile and all of the jokes he used to tell. There’s a lot of laughter in heaven as i’m sure my dad is telling his beloved ole and lena jokes. Its true. No one knows how horrible this disease is unless they live it. My mom had early alzheimer at 51, she passed at 63. The years in between were heartbreaking. My mom lost her ability to speak early on.

The day she looked at me like i was a stranger was one of the hardest of my life. People need to know there is not a lot of financial support for caregivers. We have to morn them twice, when we lose them to the disease, and then when the disease finally takes them. Its a living nightmare. I only hope they don’t suffer as much as we do as we are watching them slowing dying each day.

My mom didn’t live long enough to go through this crap! She passed before it got a hold on her!! I knew something was up when she forgot my birthday, never ever had she forgotten!! If she forgot mine, it wouldn’t have been too long before she would have forgotten my brothers, daughter-in-laws, and grandchildren ! Dad said she was forgetting a lot of things so quickly! So yea, she didn’t have to suffer and we didn’t I Don’t Care What Anyone Thinks Of Me Except Dachshunds I Want Dachshunds To Like Me Shirt!
