Your right to live should not be judged by your religion, race, and color. Life is precious and everyone should enjoy it.

You are lucky to be alive ! Selfish thinking failed to think about the consequences especially your family members , so what you are able to get freedom , what will happened to your love ones. More than 1000 people died trying to flee East Germany. This is not propaganda but every day reality trying to cross the border fleeing a totalitarian regime. Sad fates await the defector’s family, collective imprisonment in the indescribably horrific gulags is a common consequence.
