I know in Tanzania the Masai are having their land taken away from them. I wonder if the same is happening in Kenya ? The more they are squeezed, the more they will do this. The only way to protect wildlife is to work with the local tribes people to ensure they can live and the animals can also live.

They’ll do with Masai what they’ve done with the American natives, get them close to extinction then park them into small communities struggling to survive in “protected areas”, and then accuse them of becoming a bunch of alcoholics.  Yes, I agree that is probably what will happen. It’s happening everywhere. Truly appalling. The so called modern world has no respect for other ways of living. Oh no, that’s heart breaking. Our beautiful animal kingdom should be able to live freely in their natural habitat without the act of poisoning, poaching, trophy hunting taking their lives away.

What is wrong with some people!! Our animal kingdom belongs to the world to enjoy, and generations to come, to enjoy. This story is just so, so sad.  Is there no way of helping the herdsmen . I know Namibia has the same kind och problem but there they are sometimes trying to move the lions which cannot be done in Masai Mara and I understand the grazing area for cattle is not enough. Very sad. Somebody! Please(!) start a team of Volunteers, similar to Navy Seals, but who are dedicated to saving these wonderful Animals.
