Even thou she’s extra size i feel them sexy.  I have been a overweight/obese woman for years. I’m glad this woman is trying to make larger women feel better about themselves but let me explain something. Because of my weight i am having to have two knee replacements and a hip replacement at If This Flag Offends You I’ll Help You Pack Shirt because of to much weight on my joints. Before i can even have the surgeries i need i have to lose weight. I started out at 348 and now weigh 282 and i’m still losing and working toward my goal.

The pain of needing these surgeries have kept me motivated. This woman is young but if she doesn’t change her body weight it’s going to cause problems i promise you. I also deal with high blood pressure. I’ve changed my way of eating and feel so much better mentally and physically. I agree you should love yourself for who you are but at least you want to be at a healthy weight. I’m not saying model thin but just not that big… It’s not good at all. People are so quick to judge and comment negatively about someone who is overweight.

You have no idea what the person has been through or going through and yet you’re quick to comment. For myself personally i have always been on the heavy side and i was diagnosed with pcos about 10 years ago. This makes it incredibly difficult to lose weight and keep if off if you’re lucky to lose it. I also have to use a cpap but that’s because of a problem with my airway and my jaw…

There is no such thing as an average size woman anymore. Every woman is a different height and size… Nothing average. There is no perfect number for someone’s weight. Based on my height i should be no more than 120 which is not realistic for me. I have big boobs and very wide hips… Again not standard or average. Oh… And i’m not diabetic, no thyroid or high blood pressure either. My cholesterol is even good.

Honestly any magazine can be plus size , copy fashion if that’s why you read them , what can a plus size magazine tell me that a “regular” one can’t??… I used to love finding plus size magazine’s to validate my style and not exclude me, until i realized by searching for them ,i was doing that my self.. Besides what determines ” plus size”…im not ” plus or skinny or regular ” im me and i’m as fabulously amazing as i give my self credit for.

Don’t need any “title” on a magazine to tell me that.. Women love your body, love you and everyone else will see you for what you are… My daughter is married for 16 years drs.told her and her husband after many test she will never be able to have a baby well 2 years ago since she wasn’t going to have a baby donated 1of her kidneys and now at 38 she is having a miracle baby in august!
