Very distracting from the king’s voice. Almost sounds as if Elvis is featured on the orchestras album. Not a fan. The beginning is so menacing….cheesy. Hope the rest of the album doesn’t disappoint. I say don’t mess with Elvis’s music. His music is from a different era and time, you can’t change that. I know others would argue that it keeps Elvis current and attracts new fans to keep his music going….. But, really?? I did buy the previous cd If I Can Dream, but am not a fan, listened once and that was enough.
You cannot improve on perfection, and Elvis’s original recordings are awesome, and are the best way to introduce new fans to him, and to appreciate his unique voice and amazing vocal talents.
