I don’t like long hair in guys it just feels weird. But if that’s his thing then who is the school to try to brainwash him. They should be teaching kids it’s ok to be different your not a sheep. Buy yourself a mirror, please.  Everyone is presuming there is an expressed rule that boys must not wear plaits…as to me…its not obvious that this constitutes an extreme hairstyle. Alot of children that are mixed race or of afro caribbean descent regularly have their hair in plaits.

I went to private school and the dress code was very strict., adherence was mandatory. If this kid is breaking code he needs to change his hair or change schools. If there is no code on braids then let him wear it. Too hairdo. Looks great. It is only a narrow mind that cannot see beyond a hairstyle or colour.

Piercing or tattoo. It is the person’s ability and attitude that are important, nothing else and besides it fits the rules short back and sides!
