Yes some of these animals are treated cruely but not all. A lot of these dolphins are being rehabilitated. Holy crap that tank is tiny. Hopefully when you show your daughter this you can let her know the type of cruelty is happening towards these animals and how you support that. Very true Kevin! Her “people” should be more mindful of issues like this. She’s a public figure with millions of followers and people look up to her and see her as a role model. Animal captivity is a hot topic right now especially with the recent Taiji news coverage and Caroline Kennedy’s open support of anti captivity efforts. It’s hard to believe that she’s naive to all of this…which leads me to believe that this is a conscious decision which makes it even more disappointing. I work as an independent referral agent.

I chose not to swim with dolphins in Mexico because its tragic how these intelligent animals are being used for greedy peoples interest. The greater experience would be to actually see a wild dolphin in the sea. Dont be a follower. Be a leader!
