I have been in Riyadh, Jeddah, Makka and Madina during December. I Am Freaking Cold Shirt. A shirt was enough during evenings. Ppl feel cold coz they dont wear pants socks shoes and cloths fabrics are made if cotton the wool cloths are seldom avilable in the stores. I will do that in the future.. And I agree, it sucks when people edit the artwork. It’s always better in the original. We didn’t know that it wasn’t actually the original artwork which must really suck.  I can ask my sis if she knows where she got it from so she can tell you who so editing your artwork? It definitely wasn’t us. But in the future we will definitely follow your advice. -TheWoman.

That’d be ver kind, im glad to help change ur habits. the net would be a better place if everyone could be as kind and open minded as you! im glad you admitted when you were in the wrong and will take steps to preventing it in the future thanks again! I agree with everyhing that you have said and I can see why you’re upset, so I am sorry. But sometimes its hard to give credit where credit is due, because things get reposted and edited so much on the internet that finding the original artist is sometimes impossible.

I try as an admin to find pictures that explicitly say reposting/sharing allowed, but often, the artist’s stance on this is unclear or unstated. How are we supposed to know if an artist doesn’t want their work to be reposted or shared if they don’t say so? Shouldn’t we assume that, if we cite them as the creator, that they would be glad for the exposure? Also, on sites like tumblr and such, there are often no artists cited, so sometimes its hard to find things to post that we can cite the author in.

I totally understand where you’re coming from though, and whilst I cant speak on behalf of all the other admins, I can tell you that Miss Johnlock and I are going to start putting a link to the website etc where the image came from, and will endeavour to make sure that the relevant permission is obtained. Thanks for the heads up though, and Bailey, you should be very proud as you are a very talented artist. -TheWoman.  no it’s alright, i’m glad you’re sympathic!! it means a lot honestly. thank you for the compliments !!! honestly, what to learn here is, while i understand it’s hard to find the source but as a general rule of thumb, a heads up from an artists POV.

Another tip: reverse google image search the image you want to post and 9 times out of 10 you can find the source of the image.  you should really really REALLY not steal other people’s art for you fb ‘memes’. especially without permission, which i know for a fact you didn’t ask for because i happened to be the artist of the top picture that you added text on. again, without permission. next time, please don’t do this!! im flattered but it’s actually quite disrespectful to these artists and my myself.
