All this before we realized the toxic cancer causing chemicals the were put in the water, plumbing and hoses. And we wonder why there’s so much cancer nowadays. We went barefoot most days. Had our chores to do before going out. Knew the rules about outside. Use to peek through the neighbors fence and see her sunbathing “naked”. I Suck At Apologies So Unfuck You Or Whatever Shirt. We were girls and amazed. Asked my mama if these two places were going to grow like watermelons? She said, “why are you asking me this?” I told her what I had seen. We never saw that lady naked again.

Yes we had a hose. When it was scorching out we wet our heads and drank the water. It was cold. We had a back yard with 2 very tall big trees to. Me and my bro sprayed each other. fun. We had no splash pads in our hood. We would have loved one. We would go out to play and weren’t allowed back in the house until lunch. Either drink from the hose or die of thirst. Uncle you have to check out Bonnets for Abigail and Aladdin Nation these two dogs will steal your heart. According to Sherlock Holmes, when it comes to making decisions, you might be distracted by the clutter in your brain.
The fictional character described his analogy in “A Study in Scarlet” in which he suggests that man’s brain is like an attic. The fool will stuff all sorts of furniture and items in his brain attic so that the useful information becomes lost in the clutter. The wiser man will store only the tools that will help him do his work and have it organized so that it can be accessed quickly and easily. That being true, but the general rule of: Poor minds discuss people, average minds discuss events and great minds discuss ideas, would by large be applicable here. I also believe a sharp brain by default can make a distinction between noise.

Our brain needs to forget things that are no longer useful. And this forgetting is inevitable, it is useful, and it is adaptive because it clears your memory for things that are more relevant. The problem, however, is that in the process of all of this memory purging, our brain often forgets important informatio? God bless you and all of the Bethel Family of souls (Black and White, because we love you too) for the next two century, the next two millennia. Thank you for another message to bring a smile and hope on a Friday evening.
I must tell you that last Friday’s message gave me great pause and actual goosebumps! I so disagree with your editor— you must include that story in your book. It was so extraordinary to know that you live in your ancestral family’s home! That’s exactly what I said to Bev when I read a draft of this post last week too! That story is going in the book! But it’s wonderful to have a place where every story can be told and read–and that’s the beauty of the web and social media. And how this beautiful spot for Friday’s Memories got started! Appreciate your support and comment.
Went to my Grandmother and Grandfather’s house every Sunday for dinner. Holidays, we had extra family. Did not know how much I would miss this until I grew up. Those were the Best Days of my life(besides my children being born). All the family together enjoying all the good food, all the love we shared for each other. My mother always bought me two beautiful outfits for going to church, one for Palm Sunday and one for Easter Sunday. Loved going to church and then to the graves to put palm on the graves. Home to eat and enjoy all the old stories of the old country( I Suck At Apologies So Unfuck You Or Whatever Shirt). I have no family now a few cousins left, but you can’t take away the beautiful memories I have from days gone by. Happy Palm Sunday and Easter to all.
