Oh my! That’s what they do to cops (with pay) in the I’m Not Single I’m In The Night’s Watch Shirt when they shoot and kill an unarmed black man. Racing authorities don’t condone that kind of behaviour. But shoots horses in the head on the track when they injure there selfs and are no good to them anymore. Did I miss the action by the owner of the horse? Any comment? He/she lets their horse be mistreated and says nothing? Does nothing? I can’t imagine what he does to his horses in private. Two weeks is hardly enough! Come on Australianracingboard you can do so much better at taking animal cruelty more seriously.

As far as the horse is concerned, this was nothing. The jockey’s profile can easily be found online. I looked it up. He’s a tiny little feather of a man who weighs a mere 53kg (about 120 pounds). He could’ve put all his weight into his punch and the horse (likely weighing an easy 1,000 pounds) still wouldn’t have felt a thing. This was rude and stupid behavior, nothing more (and the horse probably laughed at him). Two week’s suspension is sufficient. And considering how he’s being scolded on social media, his reputation will likely take a serious hit in the horseracing community, and will certainly adversely impact his career.

This a-hole only got a 2 week suspension. how many other horses has he abused outside of the public eyes  disgusting needed a far longer punishment. I love horse racing, two weeks s not enough, two months and a huge fine is closer to a fair punishment. Owners, trainers and the racing public should make it clear that two weeks is a joke. Somebody should punch his lights out. He should get a lifetime ban. People who abuse children are named and shamed for life, why should it be different for animal abuse. Let me punch this midget just one time the same way and he will remember it for a very very long time.

He should be dismissed! If he did that to a child or a person it would be a jail term – why is it any different for a horse! The constant whipping throughout the race is fine though right? The horse is literally forced to be the Usain Bolt of the horse world. Think about that for a minute. It’s time to end the sport of horse racing. These creatures are pushed to the point of injury, exhaustion and death. Evil SOB should deservingly receive the same treatment. Fire him, ban him, never be allowed near horses or animals again, and send him to prison.

If he can do that in public, imagine what he must be capable of in private! Ban him from working with horses!! God, wouldn’t you love to see the horse just turn his back to him and plant a hoof right in the baw-bag, because, you no….he is a baw-bag. He should be banned from racing for life. And then thrown into a lions den. Good riddance. And ban this stupid animal cruelty expo, I mean “horse race”. Animal abuse for all to see. What happens to those horses out of public view. Disgusting and absolutely NO excuse.

Interesting seeing all the hate filled comments on this thread, but compare it to a thread where someone hurt a child and you won’t see half this many comments. Oh boy, I would like to return the I’m Not Single I’m In The Night’s Watch Shirt. At least he was caught on camera with witnesses. Hate to think how he behaves in the stables. It is surprising how mean the horse racing industry can be. The whipping. The exhaustion. The cruelness. Not all, just some. I would have turned around and punched him in his face. Layed him out flat. Suspended isn’t enough he should be banned for life.
