I’ll give you one. Don’t be afraid to put your baby down in a safe place and walk away for a breath. Sometimes your baby may cry for no other reason than just to cry. No matter how under control you think you might be in that situation frustration can set in. Just set him down in the crib step out of the room and take a few deep breaths. I hate to be the one that paints the bleak picture but it was valuable advice for myself. Good luck and enjoy it all. I’m proud Dad T-shirt.

I often tell fathers of new borns… “do everything”. This includes changing ALL the diapers, get up in the early morning hours. Those hours spend so close to the baby grow a bond that last throu many years to come. My wife had post maternal depression for about 2 years after my baby was born. I was ” forced” to do all these things. However, I dont regret it.  I’m proud Dad T-shirt. My husband and son have an amazing bond as he basically raised him for a year whilst i did exams and had pnd. They’re as thick as theives and now hes 11, they have jokes between them 2 that i dont have a clue about!!
