I have to rely on my brother and significant other to teach my son how to be a man. My father was doing that as well until he passed away. I can teach respect and what’s expected.  I think your rite ,dads are very important to have n their children’s lives ,cause no matter how strong women can be n raising children alone that child still needs that father.

Because fathers do things that women don’t an we don’t no it until we really see it an i do because i have been blessed to have a father for my children an he’s still going strong with them an they are all grown.so i no with jeffrey being here for his kids has made a big difference n all of our lives.  I agree, that is why i am so thankful my children had such wonderful male role models in their lives!

Happy father’s day to all of you good guys!! You make such a difference!!! My sons father has never been in his life. He will be a junior in a hbcu this fall and he completed his fall semester with a 3.8 gpa. Now, i think i did an awesome job and he is very involved in church.so with that being said, happy father’s day to me!

I didn’t want to be or choose to be both parents to my kids. I actively begged my ex husband for years to spend more time with them andhave more of a role in their lives but he chose not only to walk away but to pursue several courses of action which hurt them and alienated them.
