She worked outside the home, and we were latchkey kids before they had a name. My husband corey is one of the best dad’s i know! Not only does he work hard to provide for us, but when i have off days ( which is pretty often ) he fully takes care of our daughter 🙂 he’s the master of poopy diapers, the picker of the cutest outfits, the one who doesn’t get mashed carrots spit back at him Jingle Busters I Aint Afraid Of No Relatives Sweat Shirt might crawl to me when she’s scared or unsure about something, but when it comes to playing it’s all daddy! 🙂 happy father’s day babe.

I don’t know about some of the stats in this video but i love my dad and my children’s dad. My husband is an equal partner in the running of our home and in parenting. I am so lucky.  This i can get behind. Real constructive feminism is about actually empowering women. These daughters will all have one thing in common. Their dads will help prepare them for the working world.

They most likely will not major in gender studies and try to make a career out of complaining on a blog.  I was born in 1979. When my parents got a divorce, my dad fought for custody and won (when courts usually favor mothers!) My grandfather asked him “what are you going to do with those kids?” he said “raise them”. And he did!! I guess i just got lucky.

I was born in 1978, and when he wasn’t away with the military,  was spending his free time teaching my sister and me to ride bikes, fish, throw a softball, camp, build fires, helping us with our homework, supporting us in school, sports, drama…you name it.

Definitely more than 5 minutes a day!  I was born in 1967 i love this, as a girl growing up my dad never said “girls don’t do that” he just taught me things, when i moved into my first place he brought me a tool box, taught me how to fix a hole in the wall, stud one out he never made it like it was special just how you do things. I went to work with him when he was building houses it was just our normal.

Umm as long as those 5 minutes were spent with the Jingle Busters I Aint Afraid Of No Relatives Sweat Shirt and not oh i don’t know ranting about phill at work five minutes a day isn’t that bad. It’s not about the time you spend but how you spend it as long as the child knows they are loved and cared for the amount doesn’t matter.
