I so feel for this lady and for the family of the young boy. Not sure why all the angry reacts, because this could have happened to you or I. Children are not fully aware of safety for a long time and there was nothing she could have done except perhaps be more vigilant- but we don’t know what her circumstances are. It is so so tragic that a poor little kid had to lose their life for nothing. I hope she has found peace and so has the boy.

Agree completely. I had two little girls dart out in front of my pickup truck. Fortunately, they weren’t badly hurt. The one girl had a broken arm. The police, in measuring the skid marks commented that the girls were fortunate that I didn’t have the camper on the truck. It is still a terrifying experience and I can still see them running out.

People tend to blame the drivers because God forbid a children should be careless and do something stupid or dangerous.Great example of why they have survived for hundreds of millions of years when so many other animals didn’t.
