None of them are offensive. For a little girl of any background that loves a disney princess, she should be able too dress like her without ridiculous questions like this. Same goes for little boys who like marvel, disney or any other media character. It’s a dumb argument. Children do not see any ‘race’ difference between themselves and their dream characters. Children see someone to admire, someone to be like. Why does adulthood, supposed maturity, bring out the hate? Anyone remember when the radio media hype in florida freaked the russians out so much it came down to one man in a submarine without the ability of acquiring any other form of intelligence to decide whether or not the u.s.

And russia would launch nuclear armageddon against each other? Screw the media toying with political correctness. Its really not so much news as it is propaganda. Lots of cosplayers portray characters that are of a different skin color. Some even do crossplays too.

Let the kids put on a costume of their chosen character and let them have fun. That’s what halloween is for. I believe that you should be respectful and some people do wear costumes to try to be blatantly rude and disrespectful. Children who want to dress up as any disney character are not being disrespectful.

Come on, they are kids and they admire these characters. That should be seen as an honor, not racist! Only if you choose costumes that generate positive comments about the characteristics of another culture. If you want children to be accepting of other cultures and to emulate the good things about that culture, parents must discuss and guide their children in their choices.  This is america!

Do whatever you want except break the law. This bs is basically modern segregation, in the mind. So irresponsible to impose this in children… There’s a difference in admiring a character and in mocking one. Effing idiots. Why would this even be an issue?
