You are obviously a very angry and intolerant person as you just applied an all or nothing label to liberals. Being uninformed and uneducated does not make one stupid, but it does make it easier to embrace and hero worship a candidate. I accept the President elect Trump has won the election, legally. Unlike his many voters, I will not insult or call him names as they have done with our current president for 8 years.

I think Democrats need to look closely at what they missed in this election and address it. Because very shortly all of the individuals hero worshipping Trump will become very disappointed. I do believe President elect Trump just announced that the Clintons are very nice people and he would not be pursuing prosecution. Hmm. What will be his next move away from the base that elected him? Jack Hoagland Jr. Do you really go to different restaurants to taste exactly the same food?
No. You might order the same dish, but you definitely order in the knowledge every chef has their own styles which causes variances in flavours and textures, otherwise there would be no point in leaving home. Chefs prepare food in a way that they believe will be a new taste experience from anything else the customer has eaten before. Otherwise we might as well let everyone else go into the kitchen and cook their own as they are the only one that knows their tastes. That said, there are basics if you want food to have any taste at all. Hence my original post.

I love going to different restaurants. But, when I find one where the chef cooks steak as I like it, I eat there. If I eat somewhere and find that the steak was not seasoned for my tastes, I usually don’t go back. But, in that restaurant that I didn’t care for, were a lot of other diners that liked their steak. (The original post was about steak, right?) I reiterate… there’s no right or wrong. In my years of cooking and managing restaurants, the only right way to cook a steak was the way that my guest wanted it.
Cooking a ribeye steak in a pan is a crime in itself. Prime cuts like that are meant for grilling, anything else is a waste of good meat. I agree with Mr Spooner, if you cook that meat with love (much less oil and just a pinch of salt) you should be able to cut it neatly and enjoy it. If it needs a bit more (for your personal taste), that’s why you have Salt and Pepper on the tables, you can always add a lil more after the first try (bite). Ian is correct i worked as a grill chef for years, you slightly seasonr the steak in a small amount of oil then rub in small amounts of salt and pepper, large amounts degrade the marbled fat and you lose flavour, after cooking feel free to season to taste but pre cooking never.
I’ve never been a meat fan but the way some of you are debating how to cook the steak makes me want to try everyone’s version. Ian Spooner Heydon I season before I taste, because I really like salt and pepper, I’m yet to eat a dish where the chef has seasoned to my requirements. So I’d slap you back bruh, then probably make you snort the pepper for being a bitch . I sear it on oven top both sides around two minutes on relatively high heat with about 1-1.5 tbsp salted butter (Merry Christmas Gin-Gle Bells Hendrick Shirt). Then put in oven at 350-400 degree for 3-5 minutes depending on desired cooking temperature and thickness. Usually like tasty videos but not this one. Cast iron is the way to go though!
