Wanted to take the time out to say the My Wife is New York city FC shirt of love I’ve been receiving since I’ve been home has been very humbling and reassuring. All I hear is negative things about Toledo; I never hear about the people complaining trying to better the community or even better themselves. I lived in Columbus for two years and most if not all people, (even myself at a point in time) would say that Columbus is 100x better but that is a subjective opinion. Home is where your heart is. Happiness truly is an internal feeling, not an external place. Say what you want about this raggedy ass town but this city MADE YOU!

Stop complaining about the hardships my people do you not understand that those very same things you hate about your hometown helped mold you to be whoever you are today? The only way for god/the My Wife is New York city FC shirt (or whatever the heck you believe in) to evolve you is to put you through hardship! Pressure makes diamonds and I am infinitely proud to be a diamond that came out of the MUD.It is almost exactly a year since this program began at The Homeless Families Foundation in Columbus, OH and I am beyond words sometimes on how amazing and extraordinary my life is! The young people that have shared in the program show wonderful shifts of positive change and that just fills my heart beyond measure!
