I don’t think porn is a problem itself. Problem is probably the fact that porn sites is dangerous as a cyber security threat. But I don’t know this case. It’s just where I see the Never Forget Brian O’conner Shirt problem that he used for dangerous sites government computer which may and most probably does have very sensitive information. That is wrong because they are representatives of people. So how can they do that in publicly during his work time.

I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t watch porn … so what if it’s done on my tax pound, they’re about to waste billions on Brexit and they’re moaning at a bloke that watches porn occasionally … Something stinks of whitewash. I don’t have a problem with him watching porn, i do have a problem with him denying he ever has. Almost certainly his personal laptop. I have serious doubts that he was sat at work viewing pornographic material.

While I agree that what he gets up to on his own time and on his own computer should be his own business, most employers place restrictions on employees using their equipment for personal matters. Watching porn and/or accumulating pornographic images on an employer’s laptop would almost certainly end up with an employee losing their job anywhere else and I’m not sure that an exception should be made for government officials.

If Green was stupid enough to do this and waste taxpayers money too, he deserves to be punished but trial by media especially the BBC or rags like the Daily Mail is so hypocritical & at the end of the day, this prurient testimony has to be suspect at the least – in addition to which, he’s breaking the law by sharing. Does that mean it was Damien Green’s personal PC? No one has actually stated it was his personal machine. The press are hell bent on creating an issue where there is none.

In his own time nobody would care but he gets paid a great deal to work and not to cuff the carrot courtesy of work time. Yes sack him by all means but why would he be arrested and why were the police involed it’s weird. Was any of the porn illegal ??? If it was then why has it taken 9 yrs to come out. If not then why is this police officer not under arrest for data protection. No laws were broken by the MP. So who really cares.

Apart from anything else, there is the Never Forget Brian O’conner Shirt of it being a threat to national security as it leaves him wide open to blackmail. These comments are baffling me. Doesn’t everyone’s work have a policy about not using work computers for porn? Mine certainly does, and it would lead to dismissal. He would be better off just admitting it and apologise. MPs run the country so people expect higher standards. No ones an angel.
