Both girls and boys need love and support. The role of dads has been diminished over time by society. All children need a champion in their lives ( either gender). And what if he wasn’t there? What if the mother was so busy with her work that you have to literally raise yourself alone? Eh, i guess that’s what we have, an undisciplined, black sheep, weirdo girl.
