I think.. He meant that humans started to act like God. They made their own rules, started with science so they Discovered a lot of “Miricals”, they ended to follow the Church like sheep, they understanded that they had a kind of “power” on this earth. And even they where not honest the punishment of God was not “Have No Fear The Mormor Is Here Shirt” so a lot of them started to believe there was no God anymore. It may be that God is physically in the heaven and cares less about the earth. In this sense he is dead,or else, we have only his words in scriptures, and when the words are printed in a book, the author is deemed dead because the meaning of God’s words is in the mind of the reader for the author no longer exists. This reflects the view of post structuralists.

Bright minded thinkers who worked hard removing illusional super powers and kinda succeeded now has to come with a plan for a world of minion followers without a leader. They forgot : the ability to make our own minds and ways, is not given to everyone. That’s how God was created. You broke idols, killed the god now what? Wrong or right they were because of a need. Reply to it! Nietzsche never said in his books that God doesnt exist, like atheists generally say, because one actually can neither say he exists nor doesnt exist Existence being a spatio-temporal conception therfore physical.

Existence or non-existence of God is a psychologically-relevant question just like atheism. Atheism and Belief are just like love and hatred, if the first is a positive link to the objet the second is a negative one when the first is broken, we cant hate something or someone we never loved before, we cant negate something or someone in whom we had not believed before…thats why i think Nietzsche never used the word atheist. He said that God is dead, we have killed him etc etc…but can we really kill God? killing suppose a physical act which is used here metaphorically to mean the false conception we have of God, the slave morality.

He had his highs and lows like everybody else and at the moment of his low he wrote a lot of things which I am sure he would like to erase if he could. So do we all, take away some things we said.  What is dead is the mental concept of god one usually have in their mind. Of course there is a universal cosncience or wathever you may say. But one should leave without mental conceps at all. Maybe this is very dificult, but the less you have, the best for you. The new overman has to live based on ethical values but not expecting a God to save him/her neither to transcend and let it go any hope of immortality just live fully the present free and generously.

Do you think if Nietzsche would have foreseen how obsessed people would get over this at the expense of his other doctrines and writing which say a lot more- do you think he would have messed with the madman story?  I think “Zarathustra” was his attempt to do Philosophy as a creative artist rather than a dry systematizer like Kant, or even in a critical, polemical mode like most of his own work. So he gave way to a form of expression that was more theatrical, perhaps even “operatic,” in some sense.

And in doing so, he may have allowed this “catch-phrase” to take on a little too much of a life of its own, by couching it in an idiom that stirred the emotions and senses beyond what Philosophy ordinarily would, especially to the majority who never caught the bug. I can never understand, though, why “Have No Fear The Mormor Is Here Shirt” is quoted and treated on the same footing as his more direct and prosaic work. I guess maybe people have had difficulty coherently responding to more than snips and bits of it because it is not especially coherent itself, and it can be hard to tell exactly what genre it is supposed to be, even. Not to disparage it, I always found it very enjoyable reading.
