He’s not a bad father, but it would’ve been cool if he had been there to raise me rather than just live in the same place as me.  I can’t agree with the 10 minutes per day, back in the 70s. I was born in 68 and my father took me everywhere with him. He wanted a son, but ended up with two girls.

He taught me everything from auto mechanics, to laying bricks. He took me camping, fishing, to work with him, and taught me to drive and sail. Some dads were involved in the raising of the children. My 1970’s dad worked during the day and came home at 3:30 daily, my mom then went to her part-time job until 9pm, my dad cooked dinner for me, helped with homework and got me ready for bed they were a modern family before it was cool. But are sons now left by the way side?
