I grew up in the 80s. My father spent a ton of time with me my older brother and older sister and went on to become the best sort of house dad when my mom advanced in her career as a nurse. While i believe it is good to extol the virtue in spending time with your children baseless generalizations are offensive especially to someone who has lost.

Their father and i don’t see how you could come up with these facts or post this without choking on your own bullshit.  Very truthful! A dad that participates, especially in their daughters life, makes her aspirations higher. One that doesn’t can spend their life trying to find a husband that takes the place of what her dad never did.

Like respecting women for more than glorified servants. Not true. I was born in 1973. My dad worked long hours so my mom could stay home. When i was a toddler we went out every saturday morning, just me and dad, for breakfast. My dad was 61 when i was born.

He was a longtime union boilermaker and retired when he was 67and he had 3 properties to maintain. I never felt that he didn’t spend time with me. Proud of my soon-to-be son in law, for being a great dad to my granddaughter. Keep doing those dishes so she grows up to have a great career!!

Happy father’s day! I was born in 1974. I spent more time with my dad than i did my mum. I went everywhere with him. He worked full time and came to every production i was in, cooked, cleaned, took me to clubs. My parents raised me together and i certainly didn’t spend Old Fart’s To Do List Shirt a day with him. It was more like he spent 5 minutes without me .
