I’ve been a loyal customer of starbucks for over 10 years I especially enjoy their special blends during the holidays yesterday december 21st 2016 between 3 55pm 4 30pm I was enjoying the caramel hazlenut latte while working I was seated on a small table in front of the chashiers in the starbucks paris location 118 rue monge with my backpack next to my feet while working as there wasn’t any room on the small table or any chairs when a spot finally opened up to plug in my computer and get more work done I look down only to find that my backpack has disappeared someone managed to help me celebrate the holidays by stealing my backpack without myself or anyone else noticing in this backpack were some valuables like my glasses and sunglasses but what was most important to me was the laptop it’s an older laptop and should soon be replaced but contained thousands of memories as well as costly and irreplaceable music software which I can’t afford to replace the last few months of my life have been nothing but an endless list of obstacles and setbacks this is the first christmas where i’m not able to afford gifts for all of my family now my memories my passion for making and mixing my own music and countless other priceless items have been literally robbed from me but none of this is starbucks’s fault it’s just sheer dumb luck and I don’t want any pity what I do want however is some help from you and your team i’ve reached out to starbuck 118 rue monge ‘s facebook page here they have never responded I found this bizarre because over the last decade i’ve had nothing but excellent memories and service from starbucks now I must say i’m disappointed i’ve reported the theft to local police but they are not likely do to anything at all if however the video surveillance cameras of this location caught this criminal leaving with my backpack pictured below that would give the police an invaluable lead if in addition this criminal was seen purchasing a coffee moments before the theft and paying by card then we would have a name not the name of a starbucks customer but the name of a criminal who targets starbucks customers at this location and who knows how many others I highly doubt anything will come out of this post nor from my efforts speaking with local police in paris however i’m hoping that you especially with today’s social media reach can help prove me wrong the starbucks rue monge location is deciding to ignore their customers regardless of the years of loyalty they’ve received from them I don’t think this is exemplary of starbucks’ brand do you armon merrychristmas catchthegrinch starbucks
