Milk is horrible for autoimmune diseases i have lupus and my aon has JRA and we dont drink milk due to the inflammation it causes and we are A ok. It’s true. It is only our chauvinism that blinds us to their amazing intelligence. We want to believe they are stupider than us, but just the opposite is the case.  Random question out of curiosity… when you have the babies in the house, how does it work as far as potty time? Do they go out like we do with house trained dogs, do they have an area or litter box they go to or do they just do it wherever?

She threw an egg at my brother. He ducked and the egg hit Merle right in the face. Splat! Our milkman drove a horse-drawn wagon and his name was Jack. After he put the milk in the fridge he would take a break, sit at our kitchen table, have a cigarette and then go on his merry way. You’re right – those were the good old days. Nope! We lived on a farm and our milk came directly from the barn to the house! I remember you had to shake the bottle to mix the cream that would be at the top. Those were awesome times!

Much better times than we are living today. A lot less stress! As a kid, I was.pretty active outside and.my Grandma tried her best to domesticate me so she would sit me.down.ny the litchen table and I got to.churn the cream into.butter,.then put it on a.homemade roll. I loved that and the warm rolls with that.homeade.butter I made was delicious!!! My Grandma put me to work turning the handle of the old churn, all the cream would rise to the top, yummy. Of course Grandma had eyes in the back of her head, as she’d remind me to keep my fingers out of that cream.

My mother would take the butter off the top and churn the milk and made the best buttermilk. Queens Are Born In June Shirt Then she would put the butter in a mold with a cute design on it. I was glad when she bought an electric churn. How about the ice man bringing ice for your icebox? I remember when we got our first refrigerator, I was about 7-8 yrs old. Ice man woud chip us off a small hunk for us to suck on . What a treat for us. My girls out leaders father was our iceman when he delivered ice to some of the Apts that didn’t have a refrigerator yet.
