My daughters played with car’s and they turned out just fine. Santa is bringing my little girl dolls for christmas and cars and a tool bench as well as neutral books etc…i want her to be given toys to play with from both ‘gender’ types so she can decide who she wants to live as and who she wants to be. Oh my, what if we let little timmy wear a pink shirt and play with a doll? He will probably be gay.
I’m pretty sure that is why they won’t let them play with dolls js. I’m a christian, but that’s ridiculous. Them playing with dolls will probably teach them to be good dad’s. Or slightly questionable ones if they are running the doll over with their tonka! Hahaha kids are kids. Let them be kids.

Parents can influence the thoughts and future goals of a kid and they should do this.. I believe if they do so their kids can progress more than parents.. And if they dont, every generation will start over from scratch… Learn from their own experiences will make their struggle longer and difficult.. But influence should be up to positive extent..

Doesn’t mean forcefully implementing something specially when they reach teenage .  I loved reading the comments on this post. I’m not going to force my children to do anything. But if my son picks up a baby doll or barbie (in the future when ivy is old enough for them) and wants to play with his sister, he can. And if ivy wants to roll in mud and play with her brothers toys like i did growing up, go for it.

The way a child plays with toys isn’t going to be how they turn out later on in life. They are kids. All they see is a toy. And that is it.  I played with trucks in the mud when i was a kid, (didnt think anything about it) kids will be kids and play, although i would probably be taken back , if my boy started playing with a baby doll. I don’t know why… Maybe it’s the day in age now?

To all the ignorant moms. I played in the mud and dirtand i am a lady today. It didn’t turn me into a lesbian or make me want to be a boy or dress like a boy. So why would a boy playing with dolls make them want to be like girls? Letting boys play with dolls will not turn them into Ragna-Rock Thor And Hulk Band Shirt . You can’t make boys not play with dolls but let girls play in the mud. Oh really, it doesn’t matter what they play with. Why are toy guns of all varieties so awful to play with if toys dont influence a childs mental physical development.
