I would not be so proud of that moment.. you could be gone tomorrow and did that moment truly matter ?? Did it add value, love or support to either of your lives ?? Did it turn your child into the perfect kid? Or was she left out ? Embarassed? Crushed? But my goodness mom sure won that fight !! Kids are kids beautiful amazing wonderous and unless they are completely out of control i dont think extreme measurea really need to be taken in public .

Rome wasn’t built in a day. And plus some times tough love is still love. Idk about tossing toys away though… that’s not what I do and my kiddo is a good kid.  Its just that discipline goes hand and hand with parenting … its not something to brag about and i do not find this story amazing at all ! Or even a good teaching moment .  I do not see how this helped build problem.solving skills, listening skills etc, it just proved your mom is in a bad mood !!  Its not about being a friend its about what truly matters in life … moments ! 

Happy moments building your childs self esteem and not trying to build your ego !! I see this alll the time and. The kids behave normallllly and are good incresible kids already ! Why the extra push for perfect?? Who are you trying to impress… I would not give a pat on the back or celebrating embarrasing your child because you are mom and you said so. Sounds like ego self talking. I didnt read anything abnormal or hurtful to another person that this very young child was doing. Get over yourself!

Hurtful to another person, no. Teaching her daughter a lesson, yes. You mean to tell me, that you would have been perfectly fine with your child deliberately disobeying you? And it’s not about impressing anyone as you stated, it’s about teaching your child right from wrong. When said child goes to school and the teacher tells them to do something and they refuse, are you going to be angry with the teacher for taking their recess from them? Because that’s what will happen. I certainly hope that you home school your children.

Plus she apologized and explained why it was done and they both exchanged words. I’ve gone so many ways with my 5yr olds from talking calmly and explaining, giving her chances to do what is asked. When she has tantrums after I let her cool off or try to console her. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. To each their own. My favorite part is Susan standing by the door with you saying “Don’t cross that line or I’ll throw them all out” as I run downstairs trying to catch them as they fall .

Never mind being the best friends….we need parents to be Parents! so you telling that a game that you have to pay to unlock other sets for your champions its better than one that the money you spent only changes the aspect so it doesnt become a pay to win? nice logic.
