I think all kids go through this. Just make sure he knows you’re there for him when he needs it. I made sure I told my kids I loved them everyday, I smelled their hair ( they hated it but allowed it). I’d make ridiculous dates with them, separately. We’d eat cheesecake in he car of the grocery store parking lot. Kids open up with food.

My children are grown now but they remember the I love you’s, the smelling of their hair (they just lean their head over to me now, without prompting) and they remember the cheesecake in the car. This parenting thing is tough. You’ll make your way though.

You don’t mention his age. If he’s in early to mid teens it could be that hormone changes are causing alot of this. Otherwise, if he’s past that point, maybe you could just sit down and talk to him the way you would to someone your age…show him that you really just want to help him be Simply Meant To Be Acrylic Painting Shirt best he can, that you respect him and if the two of you could develop more open communication it would be easier for you both.
