To each there own. I grew up as a tomboy playing in the dirt with cars and legos and shooting bb guns and doing archery with my dad and brother and i grew up with a mom that taught me how to be a lady. My brother played dolls with me sometimes too but it never turned Squanch Wars The Force Gets Schwifty Shirt into a sissy or a wimp. He actually joined the military and is now also a wonderful husband.

If both parents set a solid example of the male role and the female role the kids will know the difference. I mean after all they make boy baby dolls and uh hello what is gi joe?? Ninja turtle figures? Wrestling figures? You may be surprised but if you let a boy play with dolls he will have issues with his peers. Boys and girls are different. Girls can easily wear boy clothes and tinker on cars etc with out a social issue. Boys cannot wear girl clothes or play with barbies with out problems.
Pc does not work with elementary school kids. My mama let me play with trucks and get in the mud with my brothers and they played dolls with me in return.. Like it’s just toys let them be kids. Shouldn’t matter what they wanna play with. My son plays with dolls while his little sister plays with cars lol…i have 2 daughters and one some he plays dolls with them and they all play cars also its nothing wrong. I agree. I donot want my kids to feel they need to hide who they really are and to feel ashamed of liking certain things. I want my kids to be happy being who they are.

My daughter’s friends donot like minecraft and she does and she felt bad about that until i told her that it is okay for them to like different things and that she should not stop playing it just because they don’t like it. One christmas when my son was about 4 years old he asked for a baby doll, when i asked him why he wanted a baby doll he told me… How else can i learn to be a good daddy?
Needless to say he got a baby doll that year! My daughter dresses how she wants, she might not match and look silly at times but it allows her to express herself, on that note if i get have a son i’ll allow him to play with dolls i wouldn’t take it away and make him cry but that being said i won’t go out and buy him a doll, if he wants to play with his sister’s that’s fine. My son owns a doll because his father and i don’t believe in gender specifying, will he grow up and choose to love men who knows but i know we won’t love him any less.
My daughters never wanted to play with doll’s, it was always dinasaurs and cars. Now my eldest is thirteen it’s all about hair and make up. What if their two year old boys want to wear makeup????? Please someone give me some advice i’m a single mother and don’t exactly know what is the best to do.
