They come from families that haven’t been lied to like this story. I’m not saying they didn’t do a very loving thing and I admire the people in this story. Yes, but those children are often black and older. White Americans don’t want black black American kids. Black African children will arrive with a neat accent and stories about their tribal culture. They are exotic and quaint. White savior complex is a sickness.

So glad she reunited her with her birth mother. You can tell she loved her so much because she gave her back to her real family. You’re always misled by your handlers in Uganda. Still in Uganda a child whose parents are so poor and abused is almost equivalent to an orphan. Thx for helping that innocent blood, he/she was an orphan by then and you rescued him/her. We must understand that most people are orphans in one or the other but whoever comes to u during that period,comes to serve that purpose which pushes u to another level. Very well said. People are tarnishing adoption in general but forgetting that there are vulnerable children who have been abandoned or terribly abused by their pwn birth parents. I do a lot of children’s work and this is a big problem in Uganda. The only thing to do is to conduct a due diligence investigation into the child’s background before they are adopted. Otherwise adoption isn’t necessarily a bad thing and I’ve seen adopted children graduating from university and becoming doctors and lawyers. What is required is due diligence before the child is taken.

If one has sympathy for suffering children, I think adoption should not centred on only orphans, if our government also needs adoption how about the people they lead? Do you mean to say our government needs adoption too? Hahaha. The truth is there will always be unscrupulous people who will follow the law. But as i mentioned earlier if any child is put up for adoption, a thorough background check must be carried out before approval.  Some Ugandans are so poor that they can sell away there children to orphanages

That’s why conditions have to be put up that have to be fulfilled before a child is adopted to curb unscrupulous people. If such measures are put in place, then it will discourage such practices. She is so lucky you love her enough to recognize that and be willing to do the work and to let her go.
