I get its head and paws in, gravity takes over…then I shut the door and squeeze the bars into their respective holes. Any other way doesn’t work…feet first only spread out and hold on to the sides…and yes, bleeding arms are a given. I had the same problem with my older, and previous cats – nightmare – but my present kitten has the box with her toy in it open all the time for her to explore, so she won’t be afraid when I have to close the door of it on her! That’s the theory anyway! Tomorrow is my turn … I have to bring Stay Creepy Shirt to the vet! Help!!!
Stay Creepy Shirt, Hoodie, Sweater, Ladies T-Shirt

Two hours to try to put her to the cat carrier and once to the vet it’s a nightmare! Last time the poor vet had to put the straitjacket to Flo to be able to make a simple routine vaccine and a check! I put it in the room a day before, inside is his favorite blanket, then I put on my most friendly cat-voice & in he goes. Gotcha!

Not happy at all, but on our way to the vet, he remembers this ride on the bike with his nose in the wind was quite nice. So we enter the clinic together very relaxed. Meanwhile I keep talking to him to get him at ease. People in the street see us go & react very differently, but cat-owners know exactly what is happening here… Set box down with door facing up, drop cat in, close door fast.

It’s the only way. If we try and get them in from a normal position, all hell breaks loose! One cat is pretty easy to corral, she’s not really a fighter, but my littler one is fast and can squirm out of any hold! We always started several days in advance to tell the cats that they where going somewhere and that they calmly could go in the box.

On the day we could open the door and just hold them in front of it and they would mostly go in it by themselves. Before we started doing that we had that scenario in the clip… My oldest pisses himself in the box but he dont like car rides he gets stressed out loses alot of hair cries the whole ride we even tried to take him out of box and let him sit in my lap while I pet him and try to calm him since Im his fav but it dont work.

So no car rides for that kitty. My young one is just over a year and only has been to vet once so far he was fine the first time cause he didnt know but now im afraid what will happen next time. The door is closed and latched before she really has a chance to react. It’s amusing to see how quickly she voluntarily goes back in the Stay Creepy Shirt when the exam is done.
