I personally think people are themselves when they drink because they say drunk talk are sober thoughts but i feel like so many people use that as an excuse to hit, rape, cheat on, or assault someone and i think that is bullshit. You are responsible for your own actions. No substance tells you “oh hey you know, you should rape this woman!” he’s an idiot. Just the audio in your video made me sick to my stomach.

What a horrible human being this guy is, with proof out in the world and his ‘excuse/explaination’ is alcohol. God, this makes me so angry. I hope the woman is now save and far away from that douche. Being drunk, high, sober or anything is never an excuse to harm another person. I’ve been on both ends, i have been abused and just hearing this auto took be back to many memories i have tired to leave behind.

I have also been on the end of drinking and doing lots of drugs (used them to cope with the abuse and a mental illness) and i have said things to loved ones that i can never make up for. Just because you are hurting does not mean you can hurt others, even if you can say that this man is hurting from something. Personally i think he is a piece of shit who needs to get punished for hurting her.

My heart aches for this woman and i hope she can get away from this man. I know it must hurt her to see this blow up and everyone hearing the audio but i hope this helps her get the justice she more than deserves.  I don’t agree with the drinking defense. A person’s always responsible for their own actions. Unpopular opinion, but that’s why i don’t really buy the whole “if you’re drunk you can’t consent to sex” thing.

Especially since that only ever seems to apply to women, and not men.   I can’t listen. I almost stopped watching the video because of what i did here.
