I know school teachers and university professors who use terrible grammar and get confused, not to mention offended, if you correct them. Even the “educated” newscasters use terrible grammar. Professionally made signs are badly written and include incorrect punctuation. It’s a stressful place to live when you’re a grammar enthusiast such as myself. Stranger Things Squad Goals Shirt. Nobody is perfect, but if one is being paid to speak, teach or print language, one should respect it enough to express it properly. Being articulate, informed and having respect for language doesn’t make them white, it makes them intelligent and educated, even if they’ve never been to college.

It’s all a choice. Forgive any typos… My phone is illiterate and I have to rewrite everything. I guess it’s just a pet peeve of mine. LOL Although I live in Florida now, I went to school in New Jersey. We were taught well and it has always been important to me to speak properly. I I raised my kids that way and I’m raising my granddaughter that way, as well. Not to mention, my mother was a teacher. Unfortunately, this world is going to hell in a handbasket in so many different ways.

Thank you for teaching them well. I was an instructional substitute for about 6 weeks before I got out of there as quickly as I could. I corrected a 6 year old boy’s grammar in front of other teachers, not knowing his mother and father were among of them. The next day, DCF and the sheriff were there to discuss accusations of verbal and physical abuse. They knew it was all crap, but had to follow through. The family had falsely accused other subs of abuse in the past, telling the deputy that they would one day “own” the school board.

They told all teachers they could to not let me sub for them, so I finally quit. I didn’t want to, but it was a losing battle. No cameras in classes to back me up, either. My last day, despite a deputy sitting in my classroom, the violence and disrespect continued to the point that 5 children were physically removed from my class through throughout the day. These were 5th graders! The board, DCF and sheriff all said that I was smart to leave or someone would eventually successfully have me arrested and disproving them would be impossible.

They have a union backing them up and I didn’t. I went to work every day with children verbally assaulting me, throwing binders and even concrete chunks at me. Several even threatening my life because these people were offended that I’d undermined their teaching of their child. My point… lol… there are zero manners, decency, ethics, respect or actual learning happening with children. They’re encouraged to act up so the parents can sue. This country rewards bad behaviors and it all starts at home with lazy, ignorant parents. I grew up in a small town in Arkansas and was better educated than the so-called educated people around here.

Abandoned would mean the electric isnt working, for a safe underground house you would need an electric generator…if the unrealistic case comes and the owner forget to shut off it would run out of gas after days, maximum…so that means its a fake.
