Rules should be followed, but how many schools are saying that girls and boys don’t exist they all have to wear trousers. In this non sexist society why can’t boys grow their hair long like girls , why can’t a boy wear braids like some girls do .if you told a girl to cut her hair so everyone has same hair cut there would be up roar . Yes to some of us his hair is strange but it is tidy and not a mess .

If his hair was hanging down all loose i would personally understand it but then it would be no diffrent than a girls hair hanging loose .some of these rules really do need looking at these children do have a life outside of school so there has to be a compromise somewhere. If it does i will let the doctor who comes to my place of work for a coffee that he shouldn’t be a doctor because of his long hair. Better still i will tale the male nurse who does over night shifts in the a&e department that his hair to long go cut it incase all the training hes done doesnt work because his hair to long i could go on .
