Good breeders are necessary to keep producing individuals that align with breed standards, otherwise we wouldnt Have breeds at all. The author fails to mention that their “breeder” is little more than a backyard puppy mill — a responsible breeder wouldn’t be breeding “pomskys” and wouldn’t let a bitch in heat have the opportunity to roam the neighborhood.

I have absolutely nothing against rescuing dogs. I totally support it. My step-sister rescued an American Bulldog last year (paid $700 for him. Even adopting from a shelter, there ARE admin fees. There is no such thing as a FREE dog) and that dog has something wrong with it (healthwise) every other week it seems.

She has now paid upwards of 3, maybe 4 times, more in health bills as what I paid for my purebred golden. Sorry, but not sorry. I plan on rescuing in the future, but don’t bash on people for researching, knowing, and paying for exactly what they want. Also, many shelters rescue dogs from other countries.

So if youre talking about trying to save all the dogs in the world by rescuing, be my guest. Meanwhile, I’ll be at the beach having fun with my lovable golden. It’s easier to adopt a child than a dog. Some of these rescue groups are impossible and have so many rules. They won’t adopt if you don’t have a yard.. but Supreme Star Wars Shirt live in the mountains and live outdoors, my dog would always be doing stuff..
